Backyard Sports Courts
Many San Diego County lots have sloped or uneven ground that affects what size court will actually fit. We arrange an on-site evaluation to check grade, drainage, and clearance before a builder draws up an itemised written estimate.
Basketball Court Installation
A concrete slab or asphalt base that isn’t properly graded will crack and pool water within a few seasons. The builder starts with a site assessment and drainage slope check, then works through base preparation, surface installation, line marking, and hoop setting in a fixed sequence.
Commercial HOA & School Courts
HOA facilities, school campuses, and commercial properties see far more daily traffic than a residential court. Our partners start with a surface-level and drainage inspection, then scope crack repair, acrylic recoating, multi-sport striping, fencing, and lighting as separate line items in a written estimate.
Court Design & Site Preparation
Skipping proper site preparation is the most common reason courts settle, crack, and pool water within a few years. The builder measures the footprint, assesses soil and drainage behavior, excavates to the correct depth, and compacts the subgrade before any base material is placed.
Court Lighting & Fencing
Poor pole placement creates glare and shadow, and undersized fencing lets balls escape the court perimeter. The builder positions LED fixtures to deliver even coverage without aiming light at players’ eyes, and sets galvanized steel fence posts in concrete footings sized for the fence height specified.
Court Resurfacing, Repairs & Maintenance
A court that cracks or pools water after rain has a drainage or base problem, not just a surface problem. The builder inspects the full surface, fills cracks with a compatible patch compound, corrects low spots, applies fresh acrylic coating in the specified number of layers, and repaints regulation line markings.
Multi-Sport Court Installation
Fitting multiple sports onto one court requires careful layout planning before the base goes down. The builder assesses the site, selects a concrete, asphalt, or modular tile base matched to the ground conditions, applies an acrylic surface coating, and stripes regulation lines for each sport in distinct colors.
Pickleball Court Installation
A pickleball court that drains poorly or sits on an uncompacted base will crack and pool water within a few seasons. The builder grades the site, selects and pours the base, applies a grit-finish acrylic coating, stripes the non-volley zone and court lines to standard specifications, and sets permanent net posts.
Tennis Court Installation
A tennis court on uneven ground or a poorly drained base will crack and hold water regardless of the surface material applied. The builder assesses slope and soil conditions first, then works through subbase compaction, drainage setup, acrylic surface coating, perimeter fencing, net posts, and regulation line markings.
Tennis-to-Pickleball Conversions
An underused tennis court can fit up to four pickleball courts with new line striping, net posts, and surface prep, no new land or permits required for the conversion itself. The builder inspects the existing surface for cracks, drainage issues, and low spots before any layout work begins.
